The parliamentary candidate for NPP in the Sagnarigu Constituency of the Northern Region, Hon. Felicia Tettey promises to carry out development initiatives to ensure that the Sagnarigu constituency has its share in development.
During and within her door to door campaign in some communities in the Sagnarigu constituency, she voices out deeply to maintain and put up economic initiatives and developmental projects to make certain for good roads, pipe-borne water, schools, hospitals, and even more. She said all this development could only be successful when they give her the mandate to be the next Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu constituency in the 2020 election.
She said they would provide infrastructure projects that would improve the lives of men and women to be able to reach their aims and therefore providing jobs for the youths. She further noted that His Excellency Nana Addo is the first President to provide the people of Ghana with social intervention such as Free Education, One District One Factory, and many more developmental projects in the country and they are, however, creating prosperity and equal opportunity for all. Thus, it is their responsibility to develop Ghana and maintain peace in all areas.
She stated that she is devoted to preparing the people in Sagnarigu constituency and Ghana as well with the knowledge and technical expertise to handle business opportunities and future job endeavours. She also believes that personal improvement, education, and vocational skills development are the way to cut down poverty. She advocates for a better future for youth in Sagnarigu constituency through all the activities and projects they will do.
In line with the national need for vocational training, she will support economic development, by creating partnerships and projects to inform, educate, and train youth in Sagnarigu Constituency. She aims to facilitate and endorse a belief that vocational training will offer youth the chance to secure jobs faster, to be self-reliant, and establish their own businesses. In turn, they already committed to a more systemized change in Ghana, a change that starts with youth who believe, who can, in addition, who do.
On her positive impact in the Sagnarigu Constituency, that one major challenge of the young women is the general inadequate of understanding, attraction, and participation in governance. Considering the centrality of citizen’s participation in both government and local government administration that together with His Excellency Nana Addo Darko that young women would give the opportunity to participate in governance when she elected as Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu Municipality.
