Ghana Artiste: Fancy Gadam campaign against SARS

The Ghanaian afro-pop, dancehall, reggae musical artist, and Multi Awards winner, Mohammed Mujahid as known as Fancy Gadam on his stage name reveals his support for Nigeria by campaigning against SARS.

SARS means Special Anti-Robbery Squad, which was a Nigerian Police Force unit created in late 1992 to deal with crimes associated with robbery, moto vehicle theft, kidnapping, cattle rustling, and firearms. It was part of the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID), headed by Deputy Inspector General of Police Anthony Ogbiz.

Furthermore, on the positive part of the Northern ruler, Fancy Gadam has engaged as a Nigerian to campaigning against the police brutality in Nigeria. He noted that this slogan calls for the end of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a controversial unit of the Nigerian Police Force with long records of abuses.

He said this on his social media platforms that “May Almighty Allah helps our brothers and sisters in Nigeria against the unjust killings, brutality, and intimidation I strongly support this move”
